Inverted Back Stretcher

In an effort to keep my options open, I've purchased an inverted back stretcher. After a few days of use, I haven't noticed much difference with the lower back pain, but, there's still hope in sight. Massage can't always be readily available so keep your options open!

Wrist Surgery Follow-Up

Months after the surgery and I have good news to report.  Everything is back to "normal". One thing that does bring some additional comfort is constant stimulation of the area with light pressure.  You might know it better as massage! It helps with the blood flow and breaking down the scar tissue. It works, give it a shot!

Lower Back Pain

While lower back pain can be caused from any number of issues, many times it can be the muscles in the area.  This includes the hips and upper leg muscles causing problems.  Speaking from experience, deep tissue massage, along with stretching, can do wonders for pain relief.  Give it a shot!

Golfer's Elbow and Tennis Elbow

Muscle and soft tissue pain can be very annoying. None more so that tennis/golfer's elbow. This pain is typically found on the outer and inner portions of the forearm, just below the elbow. Rest and relaxation are very beneficial, but so is focused massage. Having someone work on these specific areas can not only speed up the healing process, but relieve some of the pain. Give it a shot!

Wrist Pain Resolution

If anyone has ever damaged any ligaments or tendons around your wrist, you know what pain it can cause. Essentially there are two options, surgical and non-surgical. Depending on your pain level, either can be effective. Following either, it is crucial to keep the supporting muscles limber and circulating blood freely. Massage, or reflexology, can be a great way to help repair a bum wrist!

Massage Schools and Free Services

We've run into numerous clients mentioning contacting massage schools looking for therapists to donate free services for their events. As a member of the professional massage industry, this concept completely undermines our therapists' industry. How will a student-turned-professional be able to earn a living if all of the students are giving services away for free? Here's hoping that massage schools don't cut the legs off of our therapists trying to earn a living.

Massage for Sinus Pain and Pressure

I'm looking for some personal relief from sinus pressure and I'm looking at the Sudafed website home page.  And, one of their tips, other than buying their products is Massage and Relax. They appropriately point out that gently massaging your neck and shoulders will help to relieve stress and can help you relax. Thanks Sudafed!

Ginger Epsom Salt Bath Results

We did it, fresh ginger, epsom salts, and baking soda in a luke-warm bath. The results, we were sweating like crazy! The ginger apparently enduces the body to sweat, combined with the warm bath water, left us feeling like we'd been in a wet sauna for 30 minutes. It was definitely draining, but in a very good way. After re-hydrating and laying down, we both agreed that it was beneficial. But, it's definitely not something to be done frequently!
